RM2BW22RN–Mr Walter Greenwood, author of Love on the Dole, was married at Caxton Hall register office to Miss Pearl Osgood, an American dancing comedienne, who she was playing the lead in That's a Pretty Thing at Daly's in 1933, insured her legs for £10,000. Mr Greenwood who is 33 has worked as newsboy, clerk, milkman, pawnbrokers assistant, and other jobs. It is part author of a new West End musical show It's in the Bag. In 1935 Mr Greenwood paid £700 to Miss Alice Miles, inspiration of Love on the Dole, when she sue him for breach of promise. 23 September 1937
