Soil washed away on Beason in Washington, Utah. Original caption: Gravel station 914 on Beason looking north showing manner in which freshets and cloud bursts wash away the soil causing deep draws that ordinarily carry but little water. This is one of the objections to the Beason line which will be subject to such washouts in the bottom lands.Structures would also be expensive. Finch June 2, 1923. State: Utah. Place: Washington.
