I've had this tent for nearly 5 years now and it has been used for numerous trips of 1 to 5 nights away, first with my 5 year old son and most recently with my son who is now 9 and his 4 year old brother. We've had weather ranging from glorious sun to cold, torrential prolonged rain and strong winds in the North Wales mountains. The tent has not let us down. Having read the comments about collapses and serious leaks through the vents I have to say I've not experienced any of that. As with any tent you need to pitch it properly and the more level the ground the better, I have noticed it doesn't stand quite straight and you do have to be careful that the raised edges of the detached ground sheet Don't get squashed down or that can lead to puddles in the living area. As with any 4 man tent I wouldn't recommend it for any more than 3 if with children or 2 adults. I do have a separate little gazebo at the side for food, utensils and cooking etc. Which gives us room in the tent for our clothes and the kids to stretch out with books, devices etc. when the weather is bad. I've had the elastic snap in one of the poles once which luckily happened when we were taking the tent down! I now travel with spare elastic and some tools fashioned from a wire coat hanger which allow me to remove the old elastic and thread the new one if needed. I've also bought some better quality pegs from Decathlon. 2 other things - I can pitch it on my own and I can stand up in it! All round a fantastic not so little tent for the price.

Great tent, very easy to erect and take down. Got pitching up and down to 20mins easy. Good space in sleeping room forbdouble blow up and necessary items. Good space in living area for two camp chairs, mini fridge, few bags etc. stood up to 40degs sunshine, and a good torrential down poor without leaks. Even able to get everything back im the stow bag after taking it down - never been able to do that before with a tent. Definately recommend this tent for use by a couple. You could get a couple of young children in also, but get the next size up for a family, well worth the price for this tent and next size up as we know friends that have that one also. Recommended!

Great Tent for Couple.

Great tent, which is such good value for the money paid. It has loads of room in both the sleeping area and lounge. I had a porta potti tucked up in the corner and we still had room for 2 chairs and various storage boxes. It rained hard in Snowdonia, but no leaks or issues from the outer tent or the tough groundsheets. If you take time to put this tent up properly, you have got a bargain.Loads of room for 2 and 3 adults, cosy with 4.

Have just used for 5 days in all summer conditions (ie wind and rain and cold!) and I would only mildly fault it for a little too much ventilation for sub-10 degrees C nights, but I dropped the bedroom vent and it wasn't too bad. Great tent and amazing for the money.

Superb for the money

Bought the tent to 'test the water' in relation to camping if you like. we are complete novices when it comes to camping and thought we would give it a go with this tent. Firstly, i would like to say this tent is so easy to put up. First attempt and it took about 45 minutes. Took it down in about 30 minutes and it all went back in the bag! we will use this tent again and for anyone that is interested the weather was warm in the day, cold at night, next night rained and the tent stayed dry. all i would say is that we would invest in another ground sheet. the ones with the tent are fine but just for a little extra protection and to try and keep the heat in. there were three of us and it was just right, four would be really snug. i will get some pics up when i can but again i have never been camping and enjoyed the experience due to the ease of assembly as far as the tent is concerned and the fact that with a bit of a down pour we all stayed dry and warm in this tent. would recommend and if you are new to camping like me then you will benefit from this tent.

Good tent- would recommend- novice review.

We bought this tent for a family camping trip. It is easy to set up with two pairs of hands and doesnt take a lot of space when packed. However it is too big and heavy to take along on a hiking trip - which it is not meant for in the first place. Two adults and two children have easily space in the sleeping cabin and the front part of the tent is big and high as well. We had very windy weather, the tent however stood despite it size very stable and dry. The ventilation was just about right for our taste as we were several people sleeping inside the sleeping cabin this was an important factor for us. We can highly recommend this tent for the small to medium sized family. It is of high quality and very well prized compared to other tents in the family tent category.

Great family tent!

We camp as a couple, and have a background in camping by bike, in tiny tents. We have recently started to camp by car, and are hoping to extend the comfortable camping season with something bigger, full height, and with a covered area we could sit in on wet, dark or cold evenings. This tent fits the bill perfectly, as far as space is concerned. It has a roomy double-skinned bedroom, and a full height single-skin groundsheeted living area, where we could stow stuff and fit a couple of chairs and a wee table. It is a hell of a lot of space for £80. However, it has clearly been designed (or not designed) to a price point. The poles are flimsier than those on our smaller, pricier tent (spare sections, and spare guy ropes are supplied). The pegs are very basic, but perfectly functional. The door zip covers fasten with velcro on the outside - impossible to close properly from the inside - and the door has a very unwieldy design for fastening in an open position. The tent tends to list slightly, if you aren't very careful with pitching, and is hard to get fully taut. While some tents stand pretty well, even without guy ropes, this one really does need the guy ropes to be properly installed as soon as it is up. I'm sure the groundsheet material won't last well - we have used an additional footprint groundsheet to protect the integral ones for as long as possible. We had high wind and heavy rain, and the tent stood up well, with no leakage through the material. However the flaps at the bottom are flappy and water easily comes in under them, though the inner bedroom remains dry. I am thinking of adding eyelet holes to peg the flaps down. If striking camp in the rain, it is very easy to keep the bedroom dry, as it comes down first, while the flysheet remains standing. The tent goes up easily enough for a tent of this size, and can be fitted back into its bag, with care. However, we have chosen to bag the inner bedroom tent separately, to keep it dry, in case of rain, and have bagged our footprint groundsheet in the original bag with the flysheet, poles etc. If price is important to you, and you need a tent of this size, this seems like a very good buy, and based on my experience so far, I would recommend it, with reservations.

A lot of space, designed to a price.

Once you finally put it up it's good. plenty of room, easy to follow clip system. 
to assemble it is a bit time consuming,  you need to 2 people to do it properly. 
disassemble is not the issue, it's rolling it and putting it back in the bag.
I tried many times and in various methods.  I still can't get it back in the bag. I'm a seasoned camper, I've never had this issue.

it's alright, just be patient

Having gone camping last night and experiencing strong wind and rain, the tent collapsed on myself, my partner and our 3 year old daughter during the early hours of the morning, resulting in us having to pack up and leave a day early. We had definitely put the tent up correctly as we’d watched video tutorials and have used this tent before. Bare in mind, we have only used this tent a handful of times. Never had the tent collapsed on us before. But we have found there is a lot of movement in windy conditions and the poles don’t seem strong enough.
