The "Virbrating Alert" function was NOT enabled on most European versions of Nokia 3210 phones, you may, however, activate such function yourself by adding a Vibrating Motor and enable the corresponding menu on the phone by Nokia Vibra Enabler. You need a f/m-bus datacable to enable the menu.

  • Remove the back plate and then the back cover which located at the upper portion of the phone.

  • Remove 4 screws that located at the top and bottom.
  • Take out the aluminium plate

  • With the new motor you do not need glue or sticky tape you just 'click' it in.
  • Reassembly the phone and that's all.

 
 
 

Enable "Vibrating Alert" Menu
You use the program '3210 Vibra Enabler' (small, very easy program, see dowload page)
or you do it with wintesla :

  1. Install "Wintesla" (see download page and software cd).
  2. Copy nsek13.dll and nsek13en.dll and paste it to Desktop.
  3. From Desktop, rename nsek13.dll into nse8.dll and rename nsek13en.dll into nse8en.dll.
  4. Cut the two renamed files and paste it to your WinTesla directory.
  5. Edit Tesla.ini and include following lines:

    7. [NSE-8]
    UserInterface=NSE8
    Functionality=NSE8
    Products=0503206,0503594,(put other product code)
  7. Save Tesla.ini.
  8. Run WinTesla and Connect your phone with 3210 data cable set the selector to "M"(MBUS) position (if nessecery).
  9. WinTesla will detect your phone and load it with your modified NSE-8 dlls.
  10. Go to "Software" > "Product Profile" and change the item "v9" to "v10" as picture shown.
  11. Press "Save".
  • Your 3210 is now with "Vibrating Alert" Menu enabled at "Menu" > "Tones" > "Vibrating alert".
