Q:
Can they seat six people outside?
A:
Yes! They have several places outdoors for parties of 6 or more!!
Sandy B.7 months agoQ:
Is there dockage for a 40 foot boat to the restaurant?
A:
Maybe? Plenty of moorings and when we were there there was a large 4x 250hp boat. Not sure what 40 ft is but provided the water supports the boat I am guessing you will be fine.

Good service, nice atmosphere and great food! We were all (4 in our party) very happy with the meal. Even our vegan.

Wonderful food at the Boatyard with the dine around Ft Lauderdale menu.
The food is delicious and enough variety to please most pallets.
I started with the Brussel Sprouts roasted in a great chili kimchee sauce.
My entree was the Shrimp Scampi with orzo. Tender shrimp in a nice tangy lemon sauce.
Dessert was Keylime with fresh berries and meringue.
A great meal and a great price!Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - 191157497Aug 19, 2022
Best food I had in a long time. Everything was good. Went for Sunday brunch before flying out of Ft. Lauderdale. This place did not disappoint. Sat outside at the bar, watched soccer, and ate a variety of appetizers. While listening to the DJ spin some great music. They have bottomless mimosas, and other cocktails. You must get the oysters, the Caesar salad, grilled octopus, tuna tacos, shrimp & fish ceviche and whatever else you want. I can definitely see myself going back. Drooling just thinking about it.

Wow, if you are lucky enough to have Sage and Kailee as your bartenders, then you're in luck.
They were slammed, as this place is right on the intercostal and getting a seat was difficult. They went out of their way to ask me my name and tell me about the daily specials. I felt so appreciated.
The food was amazing, I got the Spanish Octopus, but the service was the star of the show. The most beautiful bartenders and the most beautiful service. I can't wait to come back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Gabe D.Durham, NC1162Apr 15, 2023
To start the vibe is very Florida Yacht Club Chic. Not stuffy, certainly not old. More modern, very nicely decorated. Kind of a modern wealthy islander kind of vibe.
Service was fantastic right out the gate. From walking in without a reservation and being graciously accommodated with a smile and all positive vibes (can't imagine that can be accommodated often, this place is hoppin).
The recommendations were spot on as well. In our group we had several different options including the octopus as a starter, burgers, a po' boy, and a kale salad with swordfish. All of these were excellent but the po' boy was another level! The swordfish is amazing, easily some of the best I've had in many years. I mean, the grits are creamy and flavorful, a great example of doing grits right. To the point where my group joked that we're pretty sure there is one person who's job is just preparing the grits. Hah!
Let's talk dollars. Yeah, the fun part. It's kind of expensive for a quick lunch/brunch, except that everything is SO good you realize it's a bargain for what you get. So yeah, come spend a couple hundred for a nice lunch with friends, get some drinks because they are just as on point as the grub, and you'll find that for the level of taste bud tingling and brain triggering goodness you get, it's worth every penny and then some.
Just don't forget to tip well, your server earned it and then some!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Marissa N.Latham, NY01Feb 10, 2024

I've been to Boatyard for multiple occasions. The happy hour is superior because of its food options. The calamari is a must-order. Definitely on the higher price range for a normal dinner night, but great for a social occasion like when I got the steak. The service has always be average - nothing too much to comment. The vibe is great for happy hour in the back in the evening.

We really enjoyed our time at Boatyard! We came here on a Friday night and did not have a reservation. The wait was an hour for a table, but there were two spots at the bar open just for us!
First, the bartenders were so helpful and attentive. Our bartender made a recommendation on our drinks and was spot on! The atmosphere was intimate and inviting for a venue this size. You must visit to see!
I ordered tuna tacos because how do you not order the tuna tacos??? They were INCREDIBLE! A nice couple of bites in size each, packed with tuna and flavor. Yum!
I ordered off of the grilled menu and got the swordfish with the citrus butter sauce. I highly recommend it and want to come back and try every fish on the grilled menu!!
My boyfriend had the Shrimp Scampi. It was delicious and you will love it if you love lemon!
5 stars! Don't miss this place! Our next stop in will be for happy hour!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
