700x Rock Cress Aubrieta Cultorum Rockery Flower Ground Cover Seeds

One of the spring's early bloomers is the aubrieta (Aubrieta deltoidea). Aubretia, commonly referred to as rockcress, is frequently included in a rock garden. Aubrieta will scramble over rocks and other inorganic objects, covering them in colour and drawing the eye away with its adorable small purple blooms and delicate foliage. Once established, aubrieta groundcover is surprisingly drought resistant and can withstand the intense heat of a rockery that receives direct sunlight.

Growing instructions:

Sow seeds from March through to June In trays of damp compost, scatter the seeds on top of the soil and lightly cover; take care not to overwater. Keep in a warm location at an approximate temperature of 13-16c (55-60f). The seedlings can be transplanted into larger pots or trays once they are sturdy enough to withstand it. Keep the plants in a warm, bright area without over crowding them. In May, you can directly transplant the plants into the intended place once all possibility of frost has passed.
