Biography

Christopher Walker is in his fourth season as a member of the Yellow Jacket basketball program.....played in every game during his career.....started 29-of-31 contests as a junior.....averaged 8.6 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.....ranked fourth on the club with 50 assists.....scored in double figures 12 times.....had a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds in a win at Tennessee Temple.....totaled 15 points, seven rebounds, and five assists in a 67-50 victory against NAIA #5 Ozarks.....matched his career-high with 12 boards in a win versus Wilberforce.

2007-08 - Appeared in all 31 games and made 27 starts on the front line as a sophomore.....ranked third on the squad in scoring and rebounding with averages of 11.0 ppg and 6.1 rpg.....rated second on the team with 43 three-pointers made.....exploded for a career-high 31 points with 10 rebounds in a 94-88 win at Notre Dame (Ohio).....had 19 points with a career-high 12 rebounds in a 103-94 victory at Saint Francis (Ind.).....also pulled in 12 boards in wins versus Wooster and Urbana.....scored 20 points during a victory at Master’s.....totaled five double-doubles.

2006-07 - Played in all 31 games during rookie season and made 10 starts.....averaged 8.6 points and 4.3 rebounds.....scored in double figures 11 times.....netted a season-high 18 points in an overtime win at AMC South Division foe Shawnee State.....had 16 points and eight rebounds in a victory over Cincinnati Christian.

High School - Did not begin playing basketball until he was 19 years old.....graduate of Tivoli High School.....2005 MVP of the NBL in the Jamaican Basketball Association.

Personal - Mechanical engineering major at Cedarville University.....born 10/3/81 in Kingston, Jamaica.....son of Japhete Walker and Jenefer Wilson.....has four brothers and three sisters.....younger sister, Melaine, a track & field standout at the University of Texas, represents Jamaica as the reigning World and Olympic 400 meter hurdles champion setting the Olympic record in 2008 at Beijing.
