Her sin is her lifelessness (most_bay)

Her sin is her lifelessness

His own is his intensity

Two souls destined to meet

Amid the concrete city

When her royal blue maze

Fell upon his ardent gaze

A glint of life lit up the haze

Unfurling her complexity

Her sin is her lifelessness

His own is his intensity

A smile, a keepsake offered

Although their mindsets differed

His hand politely hovered

She welcomed the perplexity

Her sin is her lifelessness

His own is his intensity

He held her up and wiped her tears

One by one he chased her fears

He poured holy water in her ears

Swept the shards of toxicity

Her sin is her lifelessness

His own is his intensity

Day by day, he cleansed her life

He never whined about the strife

And when he asked her to be his wife

She cursed her inner scarcity

Her sin is her lifelessness

His own is his intensity

She was afraid to lose control

Around her heart she built a wall

She didn't think she had a soul

Deserving of felicity

Her sin is her lifelessness

His own is his intensity

He sat her down and held his ground

Said all the life he'd lost, she'd found

He'd fight until the stars are browned

A promise of his veracity

Her sin is her lifelessness

His own is his intensity

She asked him why he'd been so kind

She'd never seen it from mankind

He answered "how can you be so blind?

I love you! in all simplicity...."

Her sin is her lifelessness

His own is his intensity

Two souls destined to meet

For love is a core necessity
