Jesus said, "Do not be seized with alarm and struck with fear; ONLY BELIEVE!" Mark 5:36 This is God’s message to His people in this world. Though in this world we often have troubles, trials, and temptation, our God says to you and me, "Do not fear…!" The purpose and object of God in this verse is to silence the fears of His people and encourage them to confidently trust Him in the face of trouble and adversity. Why? Because... - Fear robs us of our ability to trust and believe in what God can do, and in the process our peace. - Doubt causes us to stumble and fall. - The great temptation is to doubt God's love. Remember- Your faith is anchored in God, don't doubt or fear. PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I will believe in You no matter what comes my way. For You will help me and I know You love me and You will never leave me. Amen.
