Former All-Star NBA guard and Golden State Warriors legend Tim Hardaway revealed that he believes Bol Bol is a better talent than Victor Wembanyama in the league.

Two weeks ago, basketball fans around the globe got their first glimpse of Victor Wembanyama playing against NBA competition after he appeared in two Summer League games in Las Vegas, Nevada. While Wembanyama's debut left much to be desired, his follow-up game reminded fans why he was drafted No. 1 overall during the NBA Draft.

After his debut, pundits, former NBA legends, and current players offered their way-too-early commentary for a projection of Wembanyama's career. Hardaway, one of those legends, was the latest to share his belief that

"I think he's better than Victory Wembanyama," said Hardaway on The Carton Show. "Bol Bol has better physical talent and is now ready to play in the NBA than Victor."

Bol Bol is the son of Manute Bol, a Sudanese-American player listed at 7-foot-6, making him one of the tallest players in history. Bol Bol's 7-foot-2 stature follows in his father's footsteps, with a 7-foot-8 wingspan similar to Wembanyama.

Despite their similar height and stature, Bol Bol and Wembanyama have vastly different NBA careers. Bol Bol was drafted in the second round of the 2019 NBA Draft and has already played for the Orlando Magic, Denver Nuggets, and, most recently, the Phoenix Suns.

In Bol Bol's fourth NBA season, he had the most successful year of his career, with an average of 9.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. Despite having yet to play an official NBA regular season game, Wembanyama is predicted to be a standout player for the San Antonio Spurs in his rookie season. Many basketball observers and analysts believe he will easily win the Rookie of the Year award.

Before his draft, Wembanyama was considered one of the top NBA prospects of the modern era, with many comparing him to LeBron James and Zion Williamson in terms of hype. Despite Bol having the potential to achieve success earlier due to his jumpstart on a better team, the expectations for the Frenchman are even higher than those for the Sudanese big man.

The Suns are projected to be contenders for the NBA title, with Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Bradley Beal, and DeAndre Ayton featured across the starting lineup. Although Bol will be a substitute with the team, he'll have the chance to establish himself as a rim protector and multifaceted offensive threat as the Suns embark on their quest to win a championship, a feat that they've yet to accomplish in their existence since 1968.

During the Summer League, Wembanyama faced the same challenges that rookies typically encounter in their first professional NBA setting. Moving from France's Pro A league to the NBA requires adapting to a higher level of physicality while utilizing offensive finesse and skills.

Hardaway may believe that Bol Bol is a better talent than Wembanyama, only time will tell who will have the more successful NBA career. Both players have unique strengths and abilities that could potentially make them stars in the league.

As fans eagerly await the start of the regular season, it will be exciting to see how both Bol and Wembanyama perform on the court and how their careers ultimately unfold.
