Description
This has students look at three strong student examples of refutation paragraphs and three weak examples. They answer questions identifying the counterclaim, concession, and rebuttals the students used. On the weak responses, they answer what was wrong or missing and how they would fix it. Finally, at the end they do a chart of what "Must," what "Might", and what "Won't" go in a refutation paragraph for their own argument essay/letter.
