What educators are saying
Students were able to add color to the diagram with the chromosomes. Students were able to visualize the division of the cell and difference in chromosome number with meiosis and mitosis.
Description
This product can be used as a graphic organizer for the stages of meiosis.
Students can fill in the circles with information about each stage, or draw a cell in the circle and diagram what is happening at each stage.
Along the sides are vocabulary terms or concepts. In the center are three chromosomes “talking” and asking questions.
I have used this resource with my freshman Honor’s Biology; however, it can be used for any level. I used this as a study guide prior to the quiz. It can also be used to introduce the stages while students follow along and take notes.
