Description

Are you looking for a quick way to have students identify or review the colonial grievances to see how we addressed those concerns in the Constitution and Bill of Rights? You've found the right hands-on resource!

Over the years I've found students REALLY needed to review the grievances and where/how they were fixed/addressed. This is a great activity to use just after you have taught this unit. I also love to use this activity right before our end of the year assessment as a quick review. It's great to use in stations!

In this activity, students will work to match 3 "puzzle" pieces to create a 3 way match.

  • Section 1 - Grievance
  • Section 2 - Where was that grievance addressed (Constitution or Bill of Rights)
  • Section 3 - How was it addressed?

This is not meant to be a full lesson, rather just a quick review. Just copy, cut up pieces, laminate it you can and put them in baggies. I suggest having students work in pairs.

What is included?

  • 9 sets of 3 way match cards
  • There is no key - just print yourself an extra copy as a key.
