In their last match against the Delhi Capitals, CSK registered an emphatic win. Batting first, Ruturaj Gaikwad (79) and Devon Conway (87) helped the team get off to a blistering start in the powerplay as the Super Kings posted a massive score of 223/3.

Later, Deepak Chahar destroyed the Capitals' batting unit to help the team seal an impressive 77-run victory. Maheesh Theekshana and Matheesha Pathirana picked up two wickets apiece.
