Really good actors and director deserving worldwide recognition. Netflix nailed it. Second season is even better but watching first is essential to fully dive in the story. But its not the 1980s as most will remember it. There is no Sony Walkman's or brightly coloured Memphis graphics, Cliff Richard isn't roller-skating around a shopping centre, singing about speakers. It's the real deal. The story isn't super new, but the cast is realistic af and the aesthetics are amazing, subtly 1980s style - every prop adds another layer, the camera shots perfect and lighting beautifully done - its those that contribute to make this a must watch series.
