Christian T The great J.K Simmons in another role you'll never forget, 30yrs ago in Berlin a gone wrong science experiment created a 'other side' earth identical in every way, now the 2 competing organisations that keep the secret from the masses have been forced into taking drastic measures by a secretive shadow splinter cell. This is a must see spy thriller, I couldn't believe I'd missed this series when it came out, but believe the reviews in this site. It is that good Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/14/24 Full Review David E It is rare that you come across a diamond in amongst a pile of coal. Not only is Counterpart a great spy story but has a unique sci-fi streak that sets it apart from other shows. Brilliantly acted, cast and shot. I was amazed not to have heard the show before stumbling across it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/30/23 Full Review Frago M Great performances especially JK Simmons. Wonderful world building, cold-war angst and suspense. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 11/21/23 Full Review James R JJ Simmons absolutely shines in this tense, thoughtful suspense drama. There's some much detail and a constantly subtle changing plot and direction. The pace is perfect for the storyline, giving plenty of time to consider the events as they unfold. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/19/23 Full Review Tony Z I wanted to like this show (how can you miss with JK Simmons?) but somehow I lost the power to suspend my disbelief and it started to seem just silly. Couldn't recover. I hope the same won't happen to you! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/15/23 Full Review Marcel d Works on so many levels, the acting, the story, the pacing. It is brilliant! We need more stories like this! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/08/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
