WEST GOSHEN — This year’s Specialty Equipment Market Association Show (SEMA) in Las Vegas was a good one for Quadratec Inc., the Chester County-based independent aftermarket parts and accessories retailer for Jeep vehicles.
The company was the recipient of five Global Media Awards, was named a new products Runner-Up in the Wheel Category, and received an honorable mention for its Res-Q Recovery Gear kits during the show, held in early November.
The recognition marked the most SEMA awards Quadratec has received for new products in its history, the company said.
Quadratec also introduced more than 100 new products during the SEMA show, which is Las Vegas’ second-largest annual trade show. It is the automotive industry’s “premier event to show off new products and trends,” and attracts vendors and manufacturers from around the globe, according to a press release.
“We are excited for the success and recognition for our Quadratec brands and the portfolio of brands under the Quadratec umbrella, such as Carnivore, Lost Canyon, and Lynx,” Mike James, brand manager for Quadratec, said in a statement.
Quadratec received three Global Media Awards for the company’s Lost Canyon Truck Bed Tent that fits JT Gladiator, while its Axle-Back Exhaust System for JK/JL Wrangler and the Lynx Whipsaw Wheel for Ford Bronco each received one Global Media Award. The awards are voted on each year by a panel of international journalists based on each product’s appeal in a writer’s home country, according to the release.
Quadratec’s Lynx brand received a SEMA New Products Runner-Up award in the Wheel Category for its Trail Gunner Wheel for Bronco. This alloy wheel features a “bullet-hole style design and simulated rivets” on the edges of its wheel face.
In addition, the company’s Res-Q line of Recovery Gear kits received an honorable mention from SEMA in the Off-Road/Four Wheel Drive category. The kits include recovery rope or straps, tree saver straps, snatch block, D-rings or soft shackles, trail gloves, winch dampener and utility cinch straps, according to the company.
“Having these brands recognized by the Global Media and SEMA is a huge honor for us and will motivate us to continue this run of excellence for future SEMA events,” James said.
