Season 2 of the critically acclaimed series, which is written and created by Peter McKenna and co-created by Ciarán Donnelly, first arrived in the UK in February on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, but now it has been added to another platform as well.

The second season continues the story of the Kinsellas, a crime family based in Dublin who, after defeating Eamon Cunningham, now have a new enemy to contend with – and they’re even more deadly than the last adversary.

The show features a stacked cast including Aiden Gillen, Charlie Cox and Ciarán Hinds. But how can viewers watch Kin season 2? Read on for everything you need to know.

On Friday 19th January, the BBC announced that the second series would air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer very 'soon'.

Head of Programme Acquisition, Sue Deeks, said: “All I will say is if you found the first series exciting and engrossing, just wait until you see the twists and turns in series two!”

Jennifer Ebell, EVP of EMEA Sales and Acquisitions at FIFTH SEASON, added: "The Kinsellas are back and the stakes are higher than ever. Season two of this family crime drama is explosive and we are pleased the BBC joins the growing number of our international partners."

Meanwhile, both season 1 and season 2 arrived on Netflix on 1st May 2024, meaning subscribers to that platform can also now watch the series so far in full.
