Art Deco

The First Class Grand Hall et Bureau de Renseignements, now more manageably renamed “The Foyer”, of the ocean liner Paris of 1916, former flagship of the Compagnie Générale Transatlantique/The French Line. This chamber was redesigned to the Art Deco ideal following a fire that laid waste to a significant portion of First Class in the mid-30’s. From the private collection of John Cunard-Shutter.
