Paeonia lactiflora 'Victoire de la Marne' (Garden Peony)

Large, fully double magenta flowers are held on 30-36” tall strong stems in early summer.  This very floriferous variety with a notable fragrance was hybridized shortly after the first Battle of the Marne in France during the First World War. Plant 24" apart.
