Is Namek far FAR bigger than Earth?

We know Namek is a rocky or terrestrial planet so that there will already limit it's size capabilities.
Ginormous planets are usual gas based such as Jupiter or Neptune.

Also, when Krillin/Gohan/Bulma first landed there didn't they say the gravity and air felt about the same as on Earth? If so, the gravitational pull is a good indicator of a planet's size. You can determine a planet's gravitational pull if you know it's mass and radii (plural of radius).

Most of that time they were trying to hide from scouters, so they're not going as fast as they could.

It took post Kaio Goku with an 8,000 battle power 2 days to fly down Snake Way's 1,000,000 Kilometer road. That's way slower than Light speed. It takes light about 3.3 seconds to travel that distance.

So Krillin and Gohan with a battle power of 1,500 definitely aint no light speed. lol


I would say Raptorman's view is most accurate. It's about the size of Earth based on gravity. Planet Vegeta might be huge though due to it's gravity and the fact that two different species dominated different sides of the planet for so long.

Namek would have to be bigger than the Sun for this theory to work.

I knew someone would talk about that, but what if DB does not follow those rules? I mean, King Kai's planet has x10 the gravity of Earth despite being billions of times smaller. Besides, the Kaioshin Realm is a massive ROCKY planet, supposedly 1/10 of te universe in size, which just proved that DB can ignore the rules you showed.

When Vegeta was getting closer and closer (and he was certainly not holding back his speed), Bulma had enough time to talk with Krillin and she obviously does not possess faster than light speed.

LMFAO! You reallt want to debate about this I can EASILY prove to you that a power of 1,500 was already faster than light.

I see no problem there, the Kaioshin Realm is also much bigger than the Sun.

The space pods from the Freeza empire, as well as the spaceship Bulma, Krillin, and Gohan took off in seem to be able to travel much faster than light.

None of the fighters are even remotely close to light speed at this point though. Saiyan saga and early Namek saga guys are massively supersonic. But that's not saying much.The speed of sound or even 20x the speed of sound is not even remotely comparable to the speed of light. Post Kaio Goku traversed Snake Way at about an average of 17x the speed of sound.

The fighters usually dodge ki blasts from other people, Piccolo in like 2 or 4 seconds blew up the moon with a casual attack, light takes 1.3 seconds to get to the moon, meaning that at least the speed of Goku (Post-King Kai training) at 8,000 was already faster than light.

The Snake Road is either a plot hole or Toriyama simply thought of a big number (1,000,000) and put it there.
