Usher's 2024 Super Bowl halftime show special guests

Usher's 2024 Super Bowl halftime show special guests were fellow former Voice Coach Alicia Keys, Jermaine Dupri, H.E.R., will.i.am, Ludacris, and Lil Jon.

Fans can't stop talking about he and Keys' performance in particular. She made her entrance with rendition of her 2003 hit "If I Ain't Got You," clad in a red rhinestone jumpsuit while playing a matching scarlet piano. The two then broke out into their chart topper, "My Boo," which is currently celebrating its 20-year anniversary after the stars first release it in 2004. The track 2024 was a Billboard Hot 100 number-one hit and won a Grammy for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.

Their reunion included a much-talked about moment where Usher embraced a charmed Keys. The two have clear chemistry, but it's all platonic. Usher has a longtime girlfriend, Jen Goicoechea, while Keys has been married to music producer Swizz Beats for 14 years.

In addition to his dozens of hit songs and successful albums, Usher is a dedicated father to his four children. The icon is dad to Usher "Cinco" V, 16, and Naviyd Ely, 15, with his ex-wife, Tameka Foster, and he and his girlfriend, Jenn Goicoechea, share Sovereign Bo, 3, and Sire Castrello, 2, per People. Usher and Sovereign co-star in the video for his new song "Ruin," and it's pretty adorable.

“Being present is key," he told Ebony about being a father. "I make sure to stay available as a dad at all times for my children, while staying committed to the thing that sparked my passion at a very young age. I hope that it’s an inspiration to my kids. I have this dynamic that works for me. My work allows me to be able to spend significant amounts of time with my kids and also be able to remain committed to what it is I love to do."
