Hurricane Irma: Free pancake breakfast Saturday in Immokalee

Pancakes.

There will be free pancakes and sausages in the parking lot of Immokalee High School on Saturday from 9 a.m. until supplies run out.

Immediately after breakfast, volunteers will begin passing out donated supplies such as paper towels, baby food and toothpaste.

The food and supplies are courtesy of Kelly Olsen, who owns and operates Hans' Bakery in Anoka, Minn. She and her husband, Ben, have a house on Marco Island, where Hurricane Irma made landfall on Sept. 10.

Olsen and her family began driving down to Florida on Sept. 12, and arrived in Immokalee late Friday evening.
