Grass-Schizachyrium scoparium 'The Blues' (Little Bluestem)

Ornamental grass featuring upright clumps of slender, bluish leaves. Plants can reach a height of up to 4 feet with a spread of up to 2 feet. Prefers full sun and tolerates a wide range of soil conditions. Purplish-bronze flowers appear in late summer and give way to fluffy seed heads. Foliage turns an attractive burgundy-red in autumn.
