Can the system also extract when the organic phase is heavier?
Throughout the entire process it does not matter whether the organic phase is lighter or heavier than the aqueous phase.

What volume can be processed?
With this method, a mixture of up to 230 ml can be processed in one pass. By processing multiple extractions sequentially, it is possible to process larger volumes.

Can the pH of the sample be adjusted prior to extraction?
Yes, it is possible to perform a precise SET titration to a freely selectable pH value before commencing the extraction.

Can the extract be neutralisation-washed immediately after extraction?
Yes, the extract can be neutralisation-washed to any pH value.

Can I set the extraction parameters as I wish?
Yes, in the sample table the user can freely define settings such as stirring and separation times, solvent volume and number of cycles.

What happens if no clear phase separation can be detected?
OMNIS reacts autonomously and adds a predefined supplementary solvent, such as saline solution, to improve phase separation.

Can I dilute my sample in advance using an additional solvent such as water?
Yes.

Does the device require manual cleaning?
No, the system can clean itself automatically after each extraction.

Can the tubes and the system be primed?
Yes, the user can select a suitable solvent for this.

Where is the data stored?
Each step of the extraction is automatically saved for presentation in a document, which is exported upon completion as a CSV, Excel or PDF file.

Can alternative beakers be used for analytes with a high affinity to glass?
Yes, polypropylene beakers are also available.

Is the system chemically inert?
Yes.

What happens if an error occurs?
The system pauses and sends a push-message notification to your mobile phone.
