What is Mannerly Traditions?

Overview of Mannerly Traditions

Mannerly Traditions is a non-profit (501c3) with proceeds benefiting educational efforts toward teaching mannerly traditions/etiquette to children, adults, and children with an adult companion without the use of electronics.

Based upon her research about the electronics/social media that our youth use, they have seen and heard numerous non-respectful, non-mannerly, unkind, rude, angry, threats, and even violent behaviors in our society. These facts have prompted me to establish “Mannerly Traditions.”

Lady Mary Louise of “Mannerstown” will teach an interactive, customized manners/etiquette curriculum with handouts and collaterals.

Mary Louise Bianco lives in Moorestown, NJ, with her husband Ken Smith, and they share four children and ten grandchildren who also live locally.

Mary Louise, a NJ Certified Teacher, has 45+ years of experience in primary, secondary, and higher education, medical/physician marketing, and customer/patient service training.

She was the national Chair of marketing activities for the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine, in addition to participating in local marketing and public relations industries and societies.

She spent the past  25 years as Director of Marketing at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of NJ-School of Osteopathic Medicine, then Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (now known as the Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine).

She has expertise in organizing and managing special events for presentations and celebrations for individuals and organizations.

Mary Louise was elected the first female fire commissioner in NJ for the consolidated Cherry Hill Fire District and served numerous years as the Chairperson overseeing the fire safety service and EMTs for the residents of Cherry Hill, NJ.

Based upon the research of her former residence, the Caleb Clothier House, she has taught manners and the history of local Abolitionists and their Underground Railroad endeavors at various schools, women’s groups, historical societies, and for Black History Month at Lockheed Martin Corp.

Currently, she teaches CCD at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Moorestown. She is also the Co-Chair of Arts Performing at The Porch Club of Riverton (member of the Federation of Women’s Clubs).  She is now returning to the joy of teaching children lady and gentleman training with Mannerly Traditions.
