Is someone driving you nuts?

There are some people in your life who always go on irritating you, they ensure that you are upset so that you will loose your rhythm and momentum and these are the toxic people you must get rid off your life to make it less complicated. Driving nuts, or bananas or crazy is one and the same phrase but having someone targeted for being a soft target and someone all the time putting spokes in your wheel or throwing a spanner or a spammer on your works spoiling it completely and making the mess of it.

Think about them and I am sure every one of us find such people in our life some or the other time. They may be your relatives, or in laws or out laws or friends of friends, boss, or peers or rivals or enemies or no one in particular in your own circle but may be social media critics or those who use their acidic reactions to whatever you propose to do or they always make the first adverse movement to stop you or dissuade you from doing a task.

I remember the story of frogs inside a dried out well. One of the frogs decided to cross the high wall of the well and jump out of the ditch because the water level is almost dried out and all of them might be dead in a few days if there is no water left in the well. This frog goes on attempting and falling down and other frogs watching him reaching almost to the brim but falling down in the mud again and they keep laughing at him and making the fun of him. Some old frogs keep yelling at him as he went on his daily routine of jumping out of the well and he never pays attention to them. One day an old frog tells him, "look son, you have tried so many times and failed, why are you wasting your energy into this futile exercise and in turn get flak from all the frogs around." This frog just looked at the old frog and did not say a word. The next day this frog gathered all his strength and grit and finally jumped out of the well by slowly clinging to the wall and moved around crevices making way towards the brim and managed to go out. The moment he went out successfully all were just quiet. Did you guess the reason as to why did he finally succeed? Yes of course he was patient and possessed 'never say die' attitude, but more than that he chose to ignore what others said to him because he was a 'deaf frog'.

Morale of this famous story is that there are people everywhere who will keep advising you or dissuading you from doing things you are attempting to do. These people who are those who will drive you nuts or bananas or crazy with their interference and continuous criticism but if you are made up of tough material inside then you need not just bother about these people who on their own won't do anything but always keep telling others not to do those things which they did not even attempt to do.

Even when I was in a project team which was assigned a difficult project and when the boss asked the team "Who will bell the cat?" and when I raised my hand, there were murmurs around the room with the guy sitting next to me pulling down my shirt sleeve asking me to keep quiet "are you mad" " don't ever imagine you would do this project in your wildest dreams" my so called friends advised me to stop raising my hand but I am glad I did and finally the I was made the project leader and with the help of our team we made it successful with sheer determination and dedication of the entire team.

Therefore, if you think some one is driving you nuts by their antics in pulling you down, just shrug them off and go ahead if you are convinced of doing something big on your own, you will be successful, but don't fall prey to these idiots who claim to be your well wishers or 'friends'.
