Piracy Sites - URL redirections

Piracy Sites - URL redirections

Audiovisual Content piracy is evolving: those distributing the pirated content are developing sophisticated ways in which the content is accessible.

There is an increasing trend in content piracy domains where pirated site owners develop a redirection strategy by creating a matrix of URLs. By combining multiple subdomains and TLD extensions to redirect traffic and thereby generate obstacles for those wishing to protect their content. In some cases redirection is applied daily, or every other day.

(Example with infringing domain name removed so as not to promote traffic to the source:)
