Missing The Mark -Its Not What You Believe It Is
When I was interning for my ministerial license, I heard this word more than I heard the word devil. That word is SIN.. I learned that the Greek definition of SIN is to Miss the Mark. I spend a great deal of time analyzing things. It's my way of asking spirit for clarification. Whenever I receive clarification its always in pictures. What came to me was someone aiming yet always missing it. In my opinion, SIN is not some horrible thing against god where you will burn in Hell for eternity. NO…
Rather, SIN is merely missing the mark at what you're aiming. For example, if you are desiring to be a better person in life by practicing positive reprogramming techniques for six months then one day spend the entire day repeating to yourself over and over the negative comments you heard younger in life. In my opinion, that is SIN. My definition of Hell is merely the world you’ve created for yourself and refusing to leave that life you created with those negative thoughts, feelings and actions.
My Interpretation of SIN.
I recall when that revelation came to me. I was sitting on my porch in Florida one afternoon where I noticed it was raining on one side of the street and interestingly enough the sun was shining on the other side of the street. When a voice asked me,"What do you see?"
I answered, well, its raining on one side of the street and the sun is shining on the other. This voice asked, "Which street would you like to live on?" I exclaimed, the sunny side of the street! Which I heard the voice say. "YOU CHOOSE WHICH SIDE OF THE STREET YOU WANT TO LIVE".. . "You mean I get to choose?", I asked The voice replied….YES.
We have the power to choose what we think about, say, and do. By doing so, we create a better world for us to reside. What does this have to do with Missing the Mark? Well, if you choose to do, say, and think about "Sunny" things, we transmit an energy that helps to usher us into a brighter world!
So, my Luvs, instead of aiming for things that you don't want, start aiming for the things you do. Eventually, over time you will nail the bulls eye every time!!
Thus, no more SIN, so keep aiming!!!!
