Disabuse 2023/Celebrate 2024 on a Boat in Sydney Harbour (NYE Chance to Win)
2023 has been a massive year and overwhelming to say the least.
I am only one data-point on a human canvas, but I keep hearing and witnessing similar stories, locally and globally.
As I am sitting down to reflect and preflect, I look back on a year of personal and professional disruption, grief and transformation, renewed friendships, darkness and light, depths of despair and liberation, and learning to be a single father and the value of gratitude. From the trauma of family separation to letting go and disabusing myself of old notions of what I, the futurist, thought the future would be.
So, as we come to the end of the year 2023, I want to ceremoniously celebrate leaving this year behind, and embracing a new future scenario into my life with my family, friends and clients who have shown up for me through this tempest. It's been a lifelong dream of mine to celebrate a NYE aboard a boat on Sydney Harbour, so I am hosting a "Ligurian Riviera" night aboard the Zephyr, and wanted to extend the opportunity to a couple of lucky Decoding Tomorrow supporters.
We have a few spots left, so please email me on anders@thinque.com to enter the draw, and we will let you know in the next few days if you have been the lucky winner.
No matter where in the world you are I wish you resilience, authentic self-energy and a positively transformative 2024. When life serves you lemons, learn to serve a great Limoncello Spritz. - Anders

4moI love this message -- all of it. Especially the idea of preflecting and your candor with respect to the challenges you've been facing. I for one have been there. In fact -- I had at least a decade of face plants. Here's to you and the future you so bold and wonderfully share with us Anders Sorman-Nilsson
