Its a 50 Bed Five Star Hotel to be built on the bank of River Kunhar in Balakot, Pakistan. The basic idea for the hotel is to create a connection between the Tourists and the Nature. Usually we see that when there's a development in such area where people go for Tourism, the development over powers or undermines the Natural Beauty of the area in a way that it cuts the connection between the Tourist and the Nature/Surroundings. In this project we've tried to design the Building in such a way that it has spaces that re-links the Tourist with the Nature by incorporating Courtyards in and out the Building, Terraces, Viewpoints and Challets that climb up to the Top of the Mountain which families can book and spend the time into the Nature doing all the daily routine stuff themselves like they're living there and not just visiting for a day or two, this makes the Tourists get the real feel of the Space and not just visit it like a passer by. The building is designed to be energy efficient, using renewable energy soruces, reducing the energy consumption and energy loss ultimately reducing the carbon emission. These are few conceptual sketches and renders dpeicting what we are going to do in this project. Will share more images soon Insha Allah.
