“The day I decided to send my resume to Bombardier I remember thinking that they would probably never call me (because of my experience), but they did! I’ve been working at Bombardier at the Queretaro site for nine years. When I was younger, I thought I could be a professional skateboarder because I won a few tournaments in Oaxaca, Mexico. But I’ve always loved the idea of working with planes. I started as a Production Supervisor in 2010, then spent four years as a Manager in the Electrical business unit and two more years as a Manager in Operations, Metallic Structures Assembly. I’ve now moved back to the Electrical business unit as an Operations Manager where I’m responsible for Global 7500 electrical operations in Mexico. The most enjoyable part of my role is the variety in my work. I get the chance to work on the electrical harnesses in all Bombardier aircraft, though my favourite is the Global 7500! I think the people are what make Bombardier great; we’re a family. I believe that collaboration allows us to do our jobs in the best possible way. 4yI worked for Bombardier Transportation for 17 years and it is a family and I met as few GM's many Directors and Managers and all that I met were focused on delivering a quality product to market and to the public. Very enjoyable experience. They were good to me and my family. Great Company.
