Restraint of trade clauses often cover non-competition with the former employer, non-solicitation of the former employer's employees, and nonsolicitation of the former employer's client, customers and vendors. This month, we consider the enforceability of restraint of trade clauses in Hong Kong, Japan and Indonesia as well as remedies available for breach of restraint of trade clauses in these jurisdictions.
