CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — It’s the end of an era at Woodlawn Elementary, as crews have been busy the last couple of weeks demolishing the 60-year-old elementary school on Woodlawn Drive off of McArdle Road.
Children who live near that campus now are part of the group transferred to the new Cullen Place Elementary, along with students who live near the former Montclair and Leadowbrook elementary schools.
It is unclear when or if demolition on those buildings will begin.
