But every once in a while, they'll make a rare joint appearance just to remind everyone that they are one of the most stylish couples around. Case in point? On Wednesday, the pair broke their stay-at-home streak and walked the red carpet together at the 2023 Creative Time Gala in New York City. For the occasion, Michelle wore an outfit that was worth the five-month-long wait (she was last seen at the Tony Awards in June), and opted for a black velvet minidress that featured an off-the-shoulder silhouette and ruffled statement sleeves. She accessorized with strappy black heels, a braided gold clutch, and diamond drop earrings. Meanwhile, her blonde pixie cut was complemented by her glowing complexion and a swipe of pink lipstick. Getty Kail, for his part, coordinated with his wife in a smart black suit with a white button-down underneath and matching black dress shoes. The couple posed on the red carpet together solo, as well as with their actor friend Jeremy Strong. Within a year, they had their first child together, a son named Hart, and got engaged ahead of his arrival. The two later got married during a secret ceremony in March 2020, before welcoming a second baby whose name and gender have yet to be disclosed.
