Actress Sarah Jessica Parker has revealed she is a fan of an RTÉ radio show.

The American actress shared a screenshot of her listening to Lyric Through the Night on Lyric FM.

The Sex and The City star (59) captioned the post: “Nice. I try to remember. Cause it’s always so lovely. X, SJ.”

She also used the hashtag RTÉRadio.

The actress is a frequent visitor to Ireland, making regular trips with her husband Matthew Broderick and her children, son James (21) and surrogate twins Tabitha and Marion (14), every summer.

She has been holidaying in Ireland for the past 30 years and last year praised the local pubs in her parish of Kilcar, in Co Donegal.

Last month she revealed how she uses Kerrygold butter on her potatoes, which she said turns her food into “heaven”.

She was speaking about her favourite foods on the Ruthie’s Table 4 podcast with host Ruth Rogers, a British chef who owns the Michelin-starred Italian restaurant The River Café in Hammersmith, London.

"Yes - pork chops. We use Kerrygold butter. Anyone know Kerrygold butter?” Parker asked.

Ruth replied that indeed “we all do”.

Parker, famous for playing Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City, then detailed her recipe for enjoying the much loved Irish brand.

“So, I use Kerrygold butter and just a touch of olive oil so the butter doesn't burn. There's so much unsalted butter in London, it's kind of hard to find the salted.

"You can taste all the fat, you can smell the fat. Put them in the pan with olive oil and salt and pepper and ah - heaven,” she said.

"We are crazy about potatoes and butter.”
