Problem
Add Module Mapping for cgi-bin gives an error when we enter the settings and click on OK. Error: The specified executable for the handler must be a .dll or .exe file
Symptom
Add Module Mapping Detailed Error:
The specified executable for the handler must be a .dll or .exe file. If the path to the script processor (only in the case of an .exe file) has spaces, use double quotation marks to specify the executable
Resolving The Problem
If you configure CGI as a Cognos gateway, then leave the "Executable" path blank and click OK
Reason:
When we browse we can find only .dll or .exe files and for CGI we dont have any of this
Note:
If you configure ISAPI as a Cognos Gateway, then for the path you can choose the Cognos_Gateway_Installation\c10_64\cgi-bin\cognosisapi.dll
