Ryan D. Mire is a native of New Orleans, LA. He attended Rhodes College in Memphis, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and was also an All-Conference collegiate athlete. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee, Memphis. Dr. Mire completed his internship and residency at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA and also served as Chief Resident for the department of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Mire is board certified in Internal Medicine and has an academic appointment as Associate Clinical Professor of Clinical Medical Education for University of Tennessee Health Science Center. His professional membership includes the American College of Physicians, National Medical Association, and Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He has held leadership roles in medicine locally for the Heritage Medical Associates practice and the Ascension St. Thomas West hospital, along with national leadership for the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Mire is married to Felicite, and they are blessed with three children. He enjoys his family, sports, music, and travel during his free time.
