Skiing culture in the Arlberg region

Winter fun in Lech

Arlberg – the cradle of Alpine skiing, a ski area, a region or simply a legend. Skiing culture here is not only written, but also lived. It is a successful story about a region in which the Schwärzler family was, and still is, significantly involved. Hubert Schwärzler, the former tourism director of Lech Zürs, was not only a pioneer here in terms of tourism but the whole family shaped the image of the ski resort through its functions in various areas, such as the Arlberg Ski Club and the Lech Ski School.

For you, this means lots of insider tips and a competent host family when it comes to skiing and the mountains on the Arlberg. The passion for this area is reflected in the way we treat guests. With us at Hotel Haldenhof in Lech you will feel comfortable, as well as our love for this ski destination.
