The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has warned against the sale and consumption of Shake Off Phyto Fiber drink.
"Shake Off, which is produced by the Malaysian company named EDMARK, isn't registered in Qatar. It's trade and selling is forbidden," the MoPH tweeted.
The tweet further explained that the claims made via promotions and advertisements through multiple platforms are not authentic, and are not scientifically proven.
Through the tweet, the MoPH warned against using unregistered products that have not been examined by MoPH laboratories to verify their safety.
"The MoPH is communicating with the relevant authorities regarding websites and social media accounts that promote unlicensed pharmaceutical products to take the necessary legal measures," it said.
