Claudia Schiffer's had a long, fabulous career as a supermodel—she's one of the originals!—and, over the last few years, her cashmere collection has been a big hit all over the world. But the classic German beauty isn't one to rest on her laurels.
Next year, Schiffer will launch a collection of eyewear—both sunglasses and optical frames—with Rodenstock. The 15-piece collection will launch globally in 2014 and will include a mix of optical and sun styles—all inspired by the 1970s.
"Sunglasses are an essential part of my wardrobe," Schiffer told WWD. "After years of wearing so many styles, I wanted to create a collection of great frames where the quality of the lens is equally as important as the style."
