"Zarar is a liberating scent for men who relish immunity from the obstacles of life and manage to carve a way for themselves just as the ocean finds its way leaving behind anything that comes its way. The composition of this outstanding fragrance is built with a perfect harmony of sweet and salty notes of sea water adding hints of the sunny warmth felt on your skin. Zarar is a serene blend of bitter citrus with scented tinge of rosemary that knits perfectly with the woody base of warm and musky trail. It is a perfect arrangement for all four seasons that inspires people to be at the liberty to achieve anything and everything they aim." - a note from the brand.

Aqua di gio pour homme clone, good for summers.

In attempting to make a collection of 4 perfumes, I came across this perfume given its watery note.
In setting my expectations for this perfume, I was hoping for a water-reminding note that would be good for the summer heat.
In realizing my expectations, this perfume was quite alcoholic in its scent. That alcohol reminded me of cheap Calvin Klein which was something I wished to avoid in creating my collection. So, I tried to give it away.
Worst, this perfume was implicitly rejected by the recipient of my failed experimental purchase. Somewhere in a store, this perfume sits with its alcoholic base.
I thought this perfume was a oil-based perfume given the layering of notes. Instead, I got something similar to a stereotypical Calvin Klein. If that is what you are interested in, this is the perfume for you. However, this perfume was not for my nose. I apologize to those that truly connect with it as smelling something is likely always a subjective experience.

Zarar opens loud with Sea-Notes and Citruses (yes the opening of this fragrance reminds me of Acqua Di Gio EDT*) Mid phase of the fragrance is Salty, Green (Like Cucumber Smell) Fresh Spicy, Minty, And the Dry-down is Musky, Woody.
If we talk about longevity and performance? As we all know it varies from person to person, For me: Zarar lasted around 5-7 hours with good projection for the first 2 hours and then it becomes skin scent and after 7 hours I can easily detect this fragrance on my clothes, It doesn’t disappear completely.

This is a very nice aquatic scent. Comes across as like having this sea water aquatic salty breeze thing. Although compared to western aquatics like ( Acqua di gio etc ) , this one is more spicy which surprisingly works really well with the overall scent profile. Suited more for daytime wear and casual settings although can be used in office.
High compliment factor as people generally like fresh scents.
Performance is moderate (5-6 hours) with moderate projection (1-1.5 hours).
Not mind-blowing but a good package overall.

Best for Casual wear and sometimes regular office environment, means a clean and safe scent for all casual occasions or day to day use.
Not a massive compliment getter yet it is noticeable, refreshing and sporty. Specifically designed for summer season.
Overall an average performer with decent scent but not a unique/ special fragrance.

A masculine, fresh summer fragrance with aquatic marine blend. Scent of Pakistan.

As much as I love my other Junaid Jamshed fragrances (Oudh Qadim is a rock star!) Zarar falls flat in my eyes. I really wanted a bottle of Zarar Gold but settled for Zarar when I ordered a bottle over the phone since there are no J. Jamshed stores in my state; three out of four ain't bad, I suppose.
What do I get out of Zarar? Well, I pretty much get AquaNet Hairspray and not much else - just AquaNet Hairspray. To be honest, it brought back memories of the childhood backrooms always smelling like this hairspray due to my mom and sister using it on a daily basis. But then I remembered just how much I hated smelling that crap while growing up. LOL!
Performance is about average in that it lasts 4-5 hours on my skin and projects for the first 60-90 minutes. I'm Sorry, but Zarar is a dislike for me. However, I am still going to put my nose on Zarar Gold and others from J. Jamshed because my other experiences have been much more positive.

Imagine freshly juiced green citrus,
By the beach,
As wave after wave of marine-life envelopes you,
While an aged beached wooden boat sits feet away from you.
Super fresh and 100% safe scent.
Western oriented, sporty.
Cannot go wrong with this.
Super long lasting which is unheard of for a fresh woody aromatic these days.
Easy to reach for especially during the summer days and will garner compliments.
Cannot go wrong!

Very fresh and resonable price perfume
morinaga787
a perfume of reasonable price that opens with citrusy notes followed by fresh sea notes and yet after 4 to 5 hours you feel the real base of the note most of which is woody.
A good addition to wardrobe. You will not regret it.
