At FAIST Group we are all committed to pursue excellence and to grow constantly in capabilities and production plants. FAIST Light Metals, our Business Unit producing aluminum components using High Pressure Die Casting technology, is expanding its facility in Mexico, as the business in NAFTA is expanding quite significantly in both markets our areas. Automotive market will be consolidated, but we will also start to serve Telecommunication market from our Mexican Plant.

The new facilities of FAIST Alucast are located in Santa Fe Industrial Park IV, Puerto Interior, Silao, Guanajuato Mex, just few hundred meters from the current location.

The new building will tremendously increase production and office areas, improving the environment and working conditions; a new Die Casting machine has been installed and there is the opportunity to further expand the manufacturing area, according to production needs.

The first tested shot of die casting was made on May 17th, tests were performed on a brand new FRECH machine of 1150 tons getting satisfactory results to begin the PPAP documentation required by the customer.

During next weeks, we hope to move all operations of Die Casting & CNC to the new facilities. The challenge is to move the different machines step by step, without stopping production, so that all operations will be fully working by mid-June 2019 as well as we will be focused on working on new projects for the second half of this year.
