The Steel Suction Strainer basket is the upgrade in quality and durability to the polyprpylene version also located on the fittings page. The zinc plated steel design prevents corrosion, which extends the lifespan of this product. This strainer basket is very good at keeping things like leaves, sticks, frogs, fish and other large debris from entering a pumping system. Fitted with a female pipe thread fitting for easy attachment to PVC pipe.
