Ordinal Number Names for Kids

Ordinal number name specifies the positioning or placement of something or someone. This sequence can also be used with respect to size, position, rank, weight, marks, etc. This number sequence can be used in instances as ‘my friend came 3rd in the entire class.’, ‘the book is kept on the 4th shelf from below.’, ‘I have a test in the 7th period.’

  4. Count with things in the room: collect a mixture of 4 or 5 or even more things from around the room, arrange it in an order and ask them to point the rank or position of the item. Eg.
