Key Features/Anatomical Relations

The ethmoidal bulla is located posterior to the frontal recess and forms the roof of the middle meatus (which is also the location of drainage into the nasal cavity).

The ethmoidal cells contribute to adding resonance to the voice and decreasing the overall weight of the skull.
