5th Grade Number Sense Worksheet
Least Common Multiple: Part 1
Students build their number sense as they practice finding the least common multiple of whole numbers in this helpful math worksheet! Geared toward fifth- and sixth-grade learners, this worksheet begins with an introduction and outlined example before asking students to find the least common multiple (LCM) of pairs of whole numbers less than 12. Students will list the multiples of each number in a given pair and identify the least common multiple by finding the smallest number that appears in both lists. This worksheet is a great way to help students develop and demonstrate fluency with finding multiples as they work their way through eight problems. When your student is ready, have them complete the Least Common Multiple: Part 2 worksheet, in which they’ll find the least common multiple of pairs of whole numbers less than 18.
