The products that require this mode are, for example: electrical panels (in which you want repeat the various tests at different points); electric machines in which, given the size or the composition in different parts, we want to repeat the CONTINUITY TEST OF THE CIRCUIT OF PROTECTION in different points, etc ... (Standard EN 60204-1)
RESIDUAL TESTING TESTS can be performed in two ways:
- EXTERNAL MODE or with two wires, when one wants to measure the residual voltage on the plug power supply
- INTERNAL or four-wire MODE, when measuring the residual voltage in internal points of the product
