Frasier has added another original cast member to its upcoming reboot.
Deadline reports that Peri Gilpin will reprise her role as Roz Doyle on the Paramount+ sequel series, which is set to follow Kelsey Grammer's Dr Frasier Crane as he builds a new life in a new city.
Fans of the original sitcom may remember Roz as Frasier's producer on the Dr. Frasier Crane Show, though she had been promoted to station manager by the series finale.

Gilpin will appear as a guest star in the new series, but it's unclear where her character is now or how she'll fit into the story.
The news of her casting comes shortly after it was confirmed that Bebe Neuwirth will return as Dr Lilith Sternin, who married and subsequently divorced Fraiser after a tense relationship.
We'll also be introduced to some new characters, including Eve (played by The Boys' Jess Salgueiro), who is a roommate of Frasier and Lilith's son Freddy, and Alan Cornwall (Nicholas Lyndhurst), Frasier's old college friend.

An original cast member who won't be returning is the late John Mahoney, who sadly passed away in 2018.
However, Grammer has assured fans that the revival will pay tribute to his onscreen dad, telling Fox News Digital: "His loss is and was devastating and must be given the proper attention in honour of the extraordinary man he was and the contribution he made to the show and to the acting profession.
"We will most certainly be honouring him according to his merit. A man of merit he remains to this day."
Frasier will stream on Paramount+ in the US.
