On its SE sedan, Ford offers an optional turbocharged EcoBoost 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine producing 123 hp and 125 lbs-ft of torque, paired to a six-speed manual transmission. An SE EcoBoost Appearance package includes a six-speed automatic. Last year’s EPA estimated fuel economy for the 1.0-liter engine with the manual transmission was 30 city/41 highway, while the automatic posted 28 city/39 highway.
The Focus SE automatic posted zero to 60 mph in 9.0 seconds; with manual transmission it improves to 8.3 seconds.

Ford engineers have elected to mount cameras and sensors at specific locations on the Focus to provide the driver with information about other vehicles and objects that are beside and behind the vehicle. The 2017 Ford Focus is even equipped with technology that automatically controls the interior temperature of your vehicle and your steering wheel. The Dual-Zone Electronic Automatic Temperature Control personalizes your front seat and your passenger’s seat with individualized temperature settings. You’ll have three heat settings to choose from.
Ford Focus technology is also geared toward your safety. Won’t you and your family appreciate the Ford Sync system if you’re in an accident? That’s because it will automatically dial 911 in an emergency crash. For parents with teen drivers, Ford’s MyKey system is especially popular. The system is paired with a specific key fob that allows parents to limit the Edge’s top speed, keep the radio volume low, and add extra safety reminders every time the key is used.
Not only does Ford provide engine choices for the Ford Focus, but also an array of trims. The base S sedan model is equipped with a variety of traditional features, such as air-conditioning, cloth upholstery, and power locks and mirrors. Where it takes a turn into more updated technology, you and your passengers will appreciate its easy-to-read 4.2-inch central display, Ford’s MyKey system, Sync voice controls, Bluetooth, and a four-speaker sound system with a CD player and two USB ports.

To plan your driving route, you’ll find a trip computer.
